Khunurana (Aymara, khunu snow,[1]khunurana "highest snow covered peak",[2] hispanicized spellings Jonorana, Kunurana) is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,550 metres (18,209 ft) high.[3] It is situated in the Puno Region on the border of the provinces Carabaya and Melgar. Khunurana lies south east the mountain Quyllur Puñuna, the highest elevation on the Quelccaya Ice Cap.
