Kharkiv Raion

Kharkiv Raion (Ukrainian: Харківський район) is a raion (district) of Kharkiv Oblast in eastern Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Kharkiv, however the city is subordinated to provincial authorities rather than the district government housed within its territory (see Administrative divisions of Ukraine.
