Kharaju (Persian: خراجو, Azerbaijani: Xərəci; also Romanized as Kharājū and Kherājū)[1] is a city in and the capital of Saraju District, in Maragheh County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,458, in 361 families.[2]
