Khamir District is a district of the 'Amran Governorate, Yemen. As of 2003, the district had a population of 73,225 inhabitants. It concludes one of the strongest tribes, if not the strongest, in yemen, one of which is the tribe of Hashid! Al-Ahmar Family also come from Khamir/Hashid. The leader of Khamir is Ali Al-Abdali[1]
