Kevin McLoughlin is a Gaelic footballer for Mayo. He plays his club football for Knockmore and is also a secondary school teacher at Colaiste Phadraig CBS in Lucan, County Dublin. His ability to execute the 30-yard kick pass "almost to absurd perfection" has led to comparisons with soccer player Andrés Iniesta.[1] He has started at right half forward in two All-Ireland football finals: the 2012 decider, which Mayo lost by 0-13 to 2-11 against Donegal and the 2013 decider, which Mayo lost by 1-14 to 2-12 against Dublin.[2][3][4][5] He played in the first Test for Ireland against Australia in the 2013 International Rules Series, scoring one goal.[6]
