Kerio WebSTAR

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kerio WebSTAR (formerly 4D WebSTAR and StarNine WebSTAR) is an HTTP web server for Mac OS X with older versions running on classic Mac OS.

In 1996, a Swedish organization held a "Crack a Mac" contest that involved a promised reward of about $13,500 for defacing a webpage server by WebSTAR on a stock Power Macintosh 8500/150. After two months, not a single person was able to achieve this and claim the money.[1]

On June 30, 2008, WebSTAR was officially discontinued. Technical support for the product ended on June 30, 2009.
