Kent Harper
Kent Harper is an actor, producer and writer who currently presides over his production company, Film Star Pictures (established in 1997).
Career
Harper went acted in and produced three short films including Kung-fu Cowboys and You Always Stalk the Ones you love, starring James Franco and Scott Caan. He went on to produce Handicap City which he produced with Jennifer Lynch.
Kent produced Statistics with David Michaels, Scott Rudolf and director Frank Robak. Kent also acted as one of the leads in the film playing the radio DJ, David Allen.
In 2008 he produced The Search, in which he also starred, wrote and directed.
His film Statistics won the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the 2007 Silver Lake Film Festival, with Kent Harper winning Best Performance in a Feature Film at the same festival.
Kent Harper finished producing the film Surveillance in 2007 with David Lynch; David's daughter, Jennifer Lynch, directed the film and Kent co-wrote its screenplay and acted in one of the lead roles,[1] together with Bill Pullman, Julia Ormond and Pell James, among others.
Kent also produced The Other Side with Katie Holmes, Woody Harrelson, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.
