The Kenosha Kingfish are a baseball team scheduled to begin play in the Northwoods League (a collegiate summer baseball league) for the 2014 season. Based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the Kingfish will play their home games at Simmons Field. In partnership with the City of Kenosha, more than $1 million will be invested to help restore the 83 year-old Simmons Field.
History
The Kingfish name was announced at the Launch Party unveiling ceremony on November 23, 2013.[1]
