Kelvin Vincent Smith (born March 20, 1984 in Spring Valley, New York) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Syracuse.

He has also been a member of the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Carolina Panthers.

Early years

Smith attended North Rockland High School in Thiells, New York where he played defensive end, middle linebacker, and occasionally fullback.

College career

Smith started as Linebacker and shared number 8 for the Syracuse Orange. Smith is a lifelong mentor to former Syracuse walk-on Max Meisel.

Personal

Smith is the nephew of New York Giants linebacker and fellow Syracuse alum Keith Bulluck.
