The Assam Kaziranga University [1][2][3] [4][5](known as Kaziranga University) is a Private university established through the Assam Kaziranga University Act, 2012 [6] created under Assam Private Universities Act 2007 in the State of Assam, India in the year 2012. The University is located near the city of Jorhat, in the State of Assam, India. The university is one of its kind in the region of North East India offering courses in various fields.

Organisation

The university provides courses in Engineering, Management, Commerce and Basic sciences. It has four constituent institutes:

  • Kaziranga University School of Business.
  • Kaziranga University School of Engineering and Technology.
  • Kaziranga University School of Basic Sciences.
  • Kaziranga University School of Computing Sciences.

Partnerships

It has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UK's University of Plymouth,[4][7][8] to facilitate exchange of learning, faculty and students between the two universities and with Cardiff Metropolitan University (CMU) [9][10][11][12][13] of United Kingdom for joint research and student cum faculty exchange programme. Recently MBA students were taken to Nanyang Technological University as per their educational program.
