Kazik Staszewski (born 12 March 1963 in Warsaw as a son of the architect and poet Stanisław Staszewski) is a Polish lead singer, songwriter, and leader of the band Kult.[1] Kazik founded Kult in 1982; their latest album, Prosto, was released in May 2013.[2] In 1991, he launched a solo career as Kazik with of the first Polish rap albums[citation needed] Spalam się ("I'm burning" or "I'm getting stoned").
