Kaviti is a village and a Mandal in Srikakulam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]
Kaviti mandal is bordered by Ichchapuram mandal to the north, Kanchili and Sompeta manals to the south, Odisha state to the west and the Bay of Bengal to the east.
Geography
Kaviti is located at 19°01′00″N 84°41′00″E / 19.0167°N 84.6833°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 41 meters (137 feet).

- Kaviti is located in between two towns, Sompeta and Ichchapuram, towards East.
- The area constituting Kaviti Mandal is popularly known as Uddanam (Udyanavanam). The coastal belt at this place presents a pleasant appearance, covered with large extents of Coconut, Cashewnut, Jack, mango and other fruit trees and also a beautiful villages like Jagathi, Donka puttuga, yarragovin puttuga, Borivanka, Rajapuram, Bhyripuram, Vindyagiri, sea coastal area.
- The famous temples of Santhoshi matha, Chintamani Ammavaru, Sri Sitharamaswamy temple and Kali matha temple in borivanka are located in Kaviti mandalam.
- There's a beautiful Sea beach 2 km away from Kaviti. Hindu rituals' are well celebrated here.
- Rice is the major food crop this area.
- It has many farmlands.

- It is situated on NH - 5 and has its own railway station (Though named after Jhadupudi, a nearby Village).

- Mango and Jack fruit also spin some money for the farmers.
- Kaviti may be the Mandal HQ but from business point of view Belagam has better opportunities due to its proximity to the
National high way and Railway. It is only 7 km from Sompeta station on Howrah - Chennai main line.
- It is the fastest growing revenue village in Kaviti mandal.
- It has a petrol pump, a 10 bedded Govt. Hospital, one Govt. high school, an English medium public school and a college.
- A sizable number of people of this village stay in different parts of the country and abroad. Remittances from these people
also contribute a lot to the local economy.
- The Polamma temple and Sambaralu (festival organised every five years)are worth visiting.
