Katherine Lenora "Katie" Boland (born 14 February 1988) is a Canadian actress.
Career
In her youth, Boland became well known for her roles in the Canadian children's television shows Noddy and The Zack Files. Since then, she has had significant parts in many television movies, and starred in the popular television drama Terminal City. Boland has starred in Hallmark's TV Movies The Note and its sequel Taking a Chance on Love as Christine. She has also starred in several independent films, notably Some Things That Stay, Mount Pleasant, Growing Op, Adoration and Daydream Nation. In 2009, she was chosen by Elle Canada as one of the three Canadians to watch.
Personal life
Boland was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She lives between Los Angeles and Toronto. In her spare time, she writes novels and works as a journalist for the Toronto Star, Blog TO, SheDoesTheCity and TChad Quarterly. She also writes a blog, with excerpts of her fiction and non-fiction.
