Katepurna Dam, is an earthfill dam on Katepurna river near Barshi Takali, Akola district in state of Maharashtra in India serves the city of Akola and the other suburban areas.
Specifications
The height of the dam above lowest foundation is 29.5 m (97 ft) while the length is 2,000 m (6,600 ft). The volume content is 693 km3 (166 cu mi) and gross storage capacity is 97,670.00 km3 (23,432.28 cu mi).[2]
