Kate Lang Johnson (born September 7, 1984) is an American actress and model. She has acted in the feature films Fired Up and Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon and she has guest starred on television shows such as Life and ER. She was a series regular on the NBC miniseries Persons Unknown. She appeared in the series Necessary Roughness under her married name of Kate Miner.

Early life and acting career

Kate was born Kathrine Banister Johnson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up doing theater in and around Orange County, California. She was discovered in a school play when she was a junior in high school and subsequently moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. She has guest starred on many shows: Boston Public, Malcolm in the Middle, Drake & Josh, CSI: Miami, Quintuplets, Summerland, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, Ugly Betty, ER, Life, Hellcats, and Secret Girlfriend. She was also a series regular on the NBC miniseries Persons Unknown. In addition to her television work, Kate has also appeared in the feature films Fired Up, Tom Cool, and had a supporting role in the well reviewed indie horror flick Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. She is represented by Innovative Artists.

Modeling career

Johnson has appeared in national campaigns for Skechers, Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Zinc, Fabrizio Gianni, and DKNY. She is represented by Nous Models in Los Angeles.
