Kashan (Quechua kasha thorn or spine[2] -n a suffix, hispanicized spelling Cashan) is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,716 metres (18,753 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, in the districts Huaraz and Olleros. Kashan lies southeast of the town Huaraz (Waras), southwest of Wantsan, west of Urwashrahu and northeast of Shaqsha.
