Kartvelian studies

The Kartvelian studies, Kartvelology or Georgian studies (Georgian: ქართველოლოგია) is a field of humanities covering Kartvelian (Georgian) history, languages, religion and/or culture.

In a narrower sense, the term usually refers to the research activities conducted on these problems outside Georgia.
