Kartika Airlines is an airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It operates domestic services from Jakarta. Its main base is Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta.[1] Kartika Airlines is listed in category 2 by Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for airline safety quality.[2]
History

The airline was established in 2001 and started operations on 15 May 2001. It is wholly owned by PT Truba. The airline was grounded in November 2004, but resumed services on 15 June 2005. Kartika Airlines is among the Indonesian carriers currently blacklisted by the European Union Civil Aviation Authority.[3][4]
