Karongasaurus is the name given to a genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. It was a titanosaurid sauropod. Its fossils, consisting solely of part of a lower mandible and a few teeth, were found in Malawi. The type species, Karongasaurus gittelmani, was described by Elizabeth Gomani in 2005.[1]
Karongasaurus holds the distinction of being the first dinosaur published solely on-line.
