Kari Aalvik Grimsbø (born 4 January 1985 in Bergen)[1] is a Norwegian handball player, who grew up in Skaun. She is a goalkeeper for Byåsen IL and the Norwegian national team.

Aalvik Grimsbø played her first match for the senior national team in September 2005 against Portugal. Previously though she had played for Norway in the European and World Championships for juniors. Since then she has played 57 matches with the senior team and is an Olympic gold medalist, two times European champion and a silver medalist at the World Championship

Before she joined Byåsen, she played for the clubs Orkdal and Børsa/Skaun.
