Karel Schulz

Karel Schulz (1899–1943) was a Czech writer and novelist whose most famous work is the historical novel Kámen a bolest (Stone and Pain). During the communist era in Czechoslovakia he was not very popular with the regime due to his closeness to Catholicism.
