From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Karim Bashir Bhoy is an ex-member of the popular Pakistani pop band, Strings. While studying in his first year of intermediate studies at the Government Commerce College in Karachi[1] in 1988, Bhoy was approached by Bilal Maqsood to play the bass guitar[2] for the band.
Bhoy played for the band and recorded two of the band's first albums. In 1992, the quartet was disbanded to continue studies. When Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia later approached Bhoy to re-form the band but his wife didn't grant him permission. The band was continued with only two of the former four members as Rafiq Wazir Ali also backed out of the restarted venture.
