Karłowiec [karˈwɔvjɛt͡s] (German: Karlsberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mirsk, within Lwówek Śląski County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north of Mirsk, 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-west of Lwówek Śląski, and 117 kilometres (73 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
