Kapitańszczyzna [kapitaɲʂˈt͡ʂɨzna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Narewka, within Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Narewka, 19 km (12 mi) north of Hajnówka, and 43 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital Białystok.
The village has a population of 100.
