Kandhkot

Kandhkot (Urdu: كندھ كوٹ), is a city and a tehsil[1] in Kashmor District in the Sindh province of Pakistan.[2] The city is a major hub for the grain and cattle industry. The Anaj mandi (Grain market) of Kandhkot is said to be the second largest grain market of Asia. Kandhkot has its own gas and oil fields. Kashmore lies to its east, Tangwani to its north, Shikarpur to the west and the Indus River to the south, which links it with Ghotki District. include rice and wheat. Many social organizations are based in Kandhkot, such as the Education Development Organization, Human Resource Development Initiative and Kainnat Welfare Association. There are many projects that are being run in Kandhkot such as Sindh Development Social Services Program (SDSSP), National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO, PPHI and Centre for Peace and Justice Pakistan. There are 45 private schools in Kandhkot city.The main thing of this city is City park. there are lots of tribes which are living in kandhkot city name as Awan,Gola,Soomra,Mahmdani,Sameja, Malik, khosa, channa, chachar etc..
