Kanchan Satpute

Kanchan Satpute is a Marathi film producer. She owns the production company Nishad audio visuals located in Pune. In February 2008 she produced the blockbuster checkmate, which won awards including the Maharashtra Times "best editing award".^{[citation needed]}

Recently Satpute produced a film called Bokya Satbande based on the popular book series by Dilip Prabhavalkar starring prabhavalkar and aryan narvekar. She is also headmistress of a school in Pune.
