Kanakatara (Telugu: కనకతార) is a famous Indian drama and film in Telugu cinema. The play was written by Chandala Kesavadasu (1876–1956) in the year 1911.

1929 film

Kanakatara was made as a silent film for the first time in 1929 directed by Fatima Begum.
