Kan Otake (大竹 寛 Ōtake Kan, born May 21, 1983 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan) is a Nippon Professional Baseball pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan's Central League.
High school career
Otake attended Urawa Gakuin High School in Saitama, Saitama. He never pitched in a national high-school tournament, but was selected for the Japanese national team in the 2000 World Junior Baseball Championship. In 2001, he was drafted by Hiroshima Toyo Carp by first-round pick.
