Kampung Raja

Kampung Raja is the district capital of Besut. It is one of the mukim in Besut and the central administration here. A long time ago, the king lived here. There are a castle was built here, but now the castle has been moved to Muzium Kuala Terengganu. Now, only an old castle that remained in Kampung Raja called Istana Tengku Long. The people here speak the Kelantanese Malay.
