From the next match, he became a regular in the team's starting eleven.

In July 2010, it was reported that Glik had begun talks with Italian side Palermo.[2][3] The move was officially confirmed by Palermo on 7 July with Glik signing a 5 year contract.[4] He made his debut for Palermo during the Europa League play-off's against Maribor, playing as a starter. Glik collected a further three appearances for Palermo during the Europa League group stages, but failed to play in Serie A for the rosaneri.

Torino

In 2011, Glik briefly trained with Torino before transferring to the Serie B side in a co-ownership agreement for €300,000.[7] He made his debut on 13 August 2011 against Lumezzane in Coppa Italia, won 1–0.[8] On 6 April 2012, he scored his first goal for Torino and the match-winner against Reggina (1–0).[9] He ended the season with 23 appearances and two goals and Torino were promoted to Serie A.
