Kamel Omrane

Kamel Omrane is the Tunisian Minister of Religious Affairs.[1]

Biography

Kamel Omrane was born on January 18, 1951 in Tunis, Tunisia.[2] He received an M.A. in Arabic literature from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Tunis in 1973 and the agrégation in Arabic language in 1980.[2] He received a PhD in Muslim Civilization in 1994.

He has worked as a university professor since 1999.[2] He is the CEO of Radio Ezzitouna.[2] He sits on the Advisory Council of the UNESCO.[2]
