Kalkalpen National Park (German: Nationalpark Kalkalpen) or Limestone Alps National Park is a national park in the Northern Limestone Alps of Austria. It contains Central Europe's largest forest region, as well the largest karst in Austria.[1] It opened on 25 July 1997,[2][3] and has an area of 20,825 hectares (51,460 acres).[4]
