Kalhan

Kalhan is a gotra of Jats found in India.
They claim descent from the mythological figure Kalhanbhadra. In the confederation of tribes called Puru, mentioned in the Rigveda, was Sanyati whose son was Virabhadra. Virabhadra had four sons, Ponbhadra, Kalhanbhadra, Atisurbhadra and Jakhbhadra, and Kalhanbhadra is the founder of the Kalhan gotra.
