Kajo Keji, also spelled Kajo Kaji and Kajo-keji, is a city in the region of Equatoria, in the state of Central Equatoria in southern South Sudan. It lies just south of the capital, Juba, very close both to the state border with Eastern Equatoria and to the international border with Uganda to the south. It is home to the Kuku people.
In 1989, Kaju Keji was under Khartoum government control till SPLA forces under commend of SPLA general Commander Dau Manyok lunch a massive Military operation against the government forces. Till then the SPLA drove the government north of the town toward Juba.
