Kago Kaju is a town in South Sudan.

Location

Kago Kaju is located in Kajo Keji County, Central Equatoria State, in southern South Sudan, near the International border with the Republic of Uganda. This location lies just west of the state line with Eastern Equatoria. It is approximately 135 kilometres (84 mi), by road, south of Juba, the capital and largest city in that country.[1] The coordinates of the town are:03 53 17N, 31 39 36E (Latitude: 3.8860; Longitude: 31.6600).

Overview

Kago Kaju is a small rural town that lies approximately 15 kilometres (9.3 mi), west of the White Nile. The town also boasts of a functioning airport; Kago Kaju Airport.

Transport

The town is served by Kago Kaju Airport. A network of small gravel roads connect the town to neighboring small towns in the county and to neighboring Moyo District in the Republic of Uganda to the south.

As of July 2011, the population of Kago Kaju is not publicly known.
