Kachua (Bengali: কচুয়া) is an Upazila of Chandpur District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Geography
Kachua is located at 23°21′00″N 90°53′30″E / 23.3500°N 90.8917°E . It has 50262 units of house hold and total area 235.82 km². kachua sawoth chandpur.
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Kachua has a population of 293683. Males constitute 49.7% of the population, and females 50.3%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 135448. Kachua has an average literacy rate of 34.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]

Kachua has 12 Unions/Wards, 173 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 238 villages & Ashrafpur is the largest village in the thana.
