KURQ is a commercial radio station located in Grover Beach, California, broadcasting to the San Luis Obispo, California, area on 107.3 FM. It broadcasts an alternative rock music format branded as "New Rock 107.3".

Programming

The Bob & Tom show airs every weekday morning from 5-10am and Saturday from 5am to 10am. KURQ also features local rock on its playlist such as Still Time, Entoven, Malo Culo, New Tomorrow, 3's & 9's, and Siko. Each Spring, KURQ releases a CD titled "SLO & Dysfunctional" featuring local rock from San Luis Obispo. Each fall New Rock 107.3 releases "The Ladies of The Central Coast" calendar. The 2008 calendar features the "Hottest Bartenders on the Central Coast". New Rock's website, http://www.newrock1073.com, features "The Babe of The Day Page" and assorted pictures of hot girls wrestling in everything from jello to mashed potatoes to KY Jelly. KURQ has been #1 in the Arbitron ratings survey for 3 straight ratings periods.

Mandatory Metallica occurs at 8pm on weeknights where three Metallica songs are played back to back.

Sunday through Thursday nights the syndicated show Loveline airs from 10pm to midnight.
