KTIE (590 AM, "AM 590 The Answer") is a conservative talk radio station located in San Bernardino, California, broadcasting to the Riverside-San Bernardino, California area. During night hours, its radio signals can travel across Los Angeles County, California and Orange County, California (another targeted area for KTIE with its conservative programming) into the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area). In addition, KTIE also broadcasts the Let's Dine Out Show on Saturdays from 3PM to 5PM (hosted by local food critic Allan Borgen),the Firing Line Radio Show on Saturdays from 1PM to 2PM (Phillip Naman host), and the Grape Encounters Radio Show on Saturdays from 7PM to 8PM (Dave Wilson host).
The radio station's demographic audience for the Inland Empire region and nearby areas of Orange County is generally more conservative and higher number of registered Republican voters than those living in the urban areas of the Los Angeles Metro Area. [citation needed]

History
The KFXM Years: KTIE goes back 76 years when it was KFXM and the oldest serving radio station from the Inland Empire debuted in 1929, the original site of its radio antenna was on the summit of Mount San Bernardino, about 25 miles east of the city. KFXM was received across most of Southern California such as Los Angeles and San Diego.
From the 1950s through the 1980s, KFXM was a popular Top Forty-formatted station at 590 kHz on the AM band in the San Bernardino and Riverside, California, market area. KFXM was home to popular disc jockeys such as Larry Lujack, Lyle Kilgore, Chuck Doherty and Bob Griffin in the early 1960s. In 1962, KMEN/129 was the new station in town and solidly beat the former #1 KFXM in the all-important ratings wars. But in 1965, KFXM reclaimed the top spot with a DJ lineup of Don Elliot, Al Anthony, Jockey Jon (Jon Badeaux), Barry Boyd and Gene Gleason. Maintaining the leadership role in the Inland Empire of Southern California into the 1970s were disc jockeys Jahni Kaye, Doug Collins, Johnny Helm, Bruce Chandler, Chris Roberts and Bill Earl. They heyday of KFXM in the 1970s is kept alive today on KFXM (LP) licensed to Lancaster/Palmdale, California.
From 1991 to 1995, this station's call letters were KRSO on 590AM and it was the local affiliate for the Los Angeles Rams pro football team. Its format, adult standards, was identical to KMPC (now KSPN).
Nowadays, KTIE in the daytime is audible from Azusa or Westminster to the west, and all the way to Banning or Yucca Valley in the east. Its main focus is the Inland Empire and Orange County.
Sometime in 2012, KTIE has rebranded themselves to AM 590 The Answer.
