KTHE is an AM radio station licensed to Thermopolis, Wyoming and broadcasting at 1240 kHz. The station broadcasts an adult standards format. The studios are located adjacent to Hot Springs State Park. The tower for KTHE is located near the mouth of Wind River Canyon.

Signal

KTHE broadcasts a 1,000 watt signal day and night. During the day, KTHE can be heard as far south as Lander, and as far east as Casper. KTHE can be received as far north as Greybull and possibly farther distances with a good radio or car stereo. Nighttime coverage is not always guaranteed due to the skywave propagation effects of AM and thousands of other stations on the same frequency.
