KNVO, branded as Noticias 48, is a Spanish-language television station in McAllen, Texas, broadcasting locally on digital channel 49 (virtual channel 48) as an affiliate of Univisión. Founded March 17, 1989, the station is owned by Entravision Communications. On September 27, 2010, KNVO started broadcasting Local News in High Definition, Along with the switch came New HD Graphics and a refreshed set.
