KMBI & KMBI-FM are religious broadcasting stations based in Spokane, Washington, the flagships of the Moody Radio Northwest network, serving Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon, Northern Idaho, Western Montana and Northwestern Wyoming, owned by the Moody Bible Institute. The FM station broadcasts at 107.9 MHz 24 hours a day, while the AM station broadcasts at 1330 kHz during daytime hours only. In November of 2013, KMBI-AM was knocked off the air by copper thieves. It was estimated to cost thousands of dollars to get the station back on the air.[2]
Local programming includes Daybreak, a week-day morning program; and The Road Home, during afternoon rush-hour.
The FM station is one of seven local Spokane FM radio stations heard across Canada to subscribers of the Shaw Direct satellite TV service.[3]
