History
KJMG's format from 1977 was sports broadcasting. In 1998, new owners Holladay Broadcasting changed the station's name to Majic 97 (97.3 FM) and the format to urban adult contemporary. KJMG tends to lean more heavily on Classic soul and Classic R&B more than they do Urban Oldies or Current R&B hits.[citation needed]
