KFLP (900 AM) is a radio station licensed to Floydada, Texas, USA, the station serves the Lubbock area. The station is currently owned by Anthony L. Ricketts.[1][2]
History
The station went on the air as KFLD on April 1, 1951. In 1972, changed call letters to KFLP and changed to KFBA on 1980-07-09. on 1985-01-28, the station changed its call sign to KKAP, on 1992-06-06 to KAWA, on 1996-03-22 to the current KFLP,[3]
The station is one of only two All Farm stations in Texas (the other 800 KDDD-AM in Dumas) broadcasting agribusiness news, markets and weather 24/7.
