KBOV (1230 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format to the Bishop, California, USA area. The station is currently owned by Great Country Broadcasting, Inc. and features programing from ABC Radio. [1]

Signed on in 1953 as KIBS. Was only radio station in Bishop until it launched KIBS-FM in 1967. FM failed and went dark in 1969. Resurrected under the ownership of former KIBS DJ Roy Mayhugh in 1974 as KIOQ.
