KBHW (99.5 FM, "Psalm 99:5 FM") is a radio station broadcasting a contemporary inspirational music format.[1] Licensed to International Falls, Minnesota, USA, the station is currently owned by Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc.[2]

History

The Federal Communications Commission issued a construction permit for the station to Minnesota Christian Broadcasters Inc. on June 30, 1982.[3] The station was issued the KBHW call sign on August 16, 1982,[4] and received its license to cover on November 30, 1983.[5] On July 23, 1999, Minnesota Christian assigned the license to the current owners, Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc.[6]

Meaning of Branding

KBHW's branding, "Psalm 99:5", does indeed have a meaning. Psalm 99 verse 5 reads, "Extol the Lord our God; worship at his footstool. Holy is he!"[7][8]
