K26ES, channel 26, is the CW affiliate in Casper, Wyoming. It is owned by Wyomedia Corporation, and is the sister station to KFNB. K26ES also has one repeater, K11RN-D in Douglas, Wyoming.
The station signed on the air in 1993 as a translator of KLWY in Cheyenne to carry Fox programming in Casper.
In 1995, the station became a secondary UPN affiliate, and in 2004 it became a full time affiliate after Fox programming was moved to KFNB.
It was announced on April 10, 2006 that K26ES would join the The CW starting September 18, 2006.
K26ES is on Channel 16 on Bresnan Cable and is seen as KWYF. It is carried on Dish Network as KWYF (channel 26 or 7954).
Viewers in the Casper area with over-the-air digital tuners can also see K26ES on KFNB-DT2, identified as KWYF.
