K256AS is a relay transmitter broadcasting on 99.1 FM, simulcasting KDNN's HD2 station "Hawai’i No Ka’Oi" (since 2012) for those in the Honolulu area that don't have an HD Radio receiver. Licensed in Honolulu, the station primarily serves the southern portion of Oahu and is under ownership of Clear Channel Communications.

The license to this station was granted on July 30, 2007 as a retranslator for KDNN.

Aside from the current playlist that primarily airs traditional Hawaiian music as "Hawai’i No Ka Oi" (translated as "Indeed the Best"), 2 local radio personalities Lanai and Augie (previously of main KDNN station) host their own morning talk show Weekdays from 6 to 9AM.
