Kübekháza is a settlement (village) in Csongrád county, in Hungary, with 1603 inhabitants and an area of 27.31 km², directly near the Romanian-Serbian-Hungarian triple border point. There is a triple-border memorial at this point. 20% Germans used to live here. People of Kübekháza living here produced lots of tobacco. After the Second World War many of them were deported to Germany. The settlement is sometimes called operetta-village because of the operetta-festival held with famous participiants every summer.
