Køge Boldklub is a Danish football club from Køge, Zealand, they currently compete in the Sjællandsserie.
History
In 1954, the club became the first outside Copenhagen to win the Danish Championship.[1]
On 2007-02-27 the club agreed on an extraordinary general meeting a merger with Herfølge Boldklub, to form HB Køge. The merger was halted by the Danish Football Association in March 2007, due to a missed deadline. On March 1, Køge Boldklub declared its insolvency.
The club notified on 6 February 2009 bankruptcy, the club will leave the professional ebene and started 2009/2010 three Leagues deeper.[2]
