Jyllian Gunther
Jyllian Gunther is a writer, producer, and director. Her critically acclaimed first documentary, PULLOUT, was an official selection at numerous festivals, nationally and internationally. She won an Emmy for her work as director/writer/producer on a PBS educational PSA series. Also forPBS, she directed and produced a series of mini documentaries for the series “Design Squad,” and was director onmultiple episodes of their Emmy award winning series “Postcards From Buster.” For NPR’s THIS AMERICAN LIFE, she was reporter/co-producer on the episode “Kid Politics.” Other TV director/producer credits include: MTV’s “MADE,” The N’s “Love High”(an original pilot), TCM/ITV’s “Meet the IN-Laws,” TLC/New York Times television’s “BodyWorks,”for which she was post producer, and more. She has also worked for the past 15 years as a freelance producer/writer for WEtv, AMC, IFC Nickelodeon, Oxygen, The N, and more. She began her career as a staff writer for Nickelodeon. Previously, she worked as a public and private school educator in film, art, and creative writing. She runs the production company Wonderful6,Inc.
